Reacting to
the call of the Crown Prince for the agglomeration of the Gulf
Countries economically
Al Ataishan: Gulf countries have all the essential factors that qualify them to work as a one united economic entity.
Al Wabel: The Committee comes as a quantum leap in shortening the
procedures that would delay the approach to the Gulf economic agglomeration.
The head of the Council of Asharqia Chamber of
Commerce, Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan, said that the Gulf countries combined
already have all the essential factors
that qualify them to work as a united economic agglomeration and become at the
forefront of world economies, and it is time for a doubling efforts and
complete the steps toward economic agglomeration
requirements, pointing to start activating the Committee economic and development affairs, that is a true
translation of the vision of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, about strengthening
the Gulf Countries mutual work, which will have a significant effect
in speeding completing the approved agreements and
projects as it is necessary to complete the requirements, pointing that the
completing of the economic legislation system by bringing the unification of
the economic and legal environment of the Gulf Countries, as well as the completion of the Union
customs requirements, and the mutual Gulf Countries market and the united currency
and other agreements and projects aimed for the Gulf economic agglomeration,
that needed a committee to implement, follow up, coordination and improvement between
the existing activities of the countries member, Al Ataishan expected that the
Committee would have an executive role in the completion of a significant
number of steps and requirements towards economic integration of the Gulf Countries.
In the same content, Secretary General of Asharqia
Chamber , Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel, said that the economic agglomeration
is like the ideal formula for the exploitation of resources and speeding economic
progress for the benefit of all citizens of the Gulf Countries,
pointing that the economic agglomerations are always working to enhance the
economy faster, as rediscover the economic resources of these countries, and
many other positive returns both in mutual trade or investment growth,
stressing that the Gulf Countries have succeeded in achieving great steps towards
the economic integration, and that this committee, with its powers can decide the politics
and make decisions and overcome obstacles, this is a quantum leap in reducing
the procedures that would delay the approach to the economic Gulf agglomeration
and playing a crucial role in facing the challenges of integration and working
on them, wishing that the committe would enhance the tides between the Gulf Countries and the hoped integration in
all economic and improvement fields that would make a deeper rapprochement
regarding the mutual work to achieve the desired goals.
